This alphabet memory game was made with children who are at various learning stages in mind. The product allows for the game to be played in different ways (according to the learner). It is perfect for individual, pairs or small group, morning work, assessment, literacy center and for fast finishers. The aim is to see if the students are able to match the cards that are the same and also to,develop memory improve game playing skills such as taking turns re-enforce beginning letter sounds and letter recognition enhance upper and lowercase letter association. Prep Simply print, laminate and cut out the cards Direction: Shuffle and place cards face done across the table. Have each student take turns selecting 2 cards at a time. If the cards match the student keeps the pair and gets another turn, if not, the cards should be placed back face down on the table and the other player gets a turn. Variation Sorting (uppercase, lowercase, consonants, vowels) Cards can also be used for ordering the letters of the alphabet. Thanks a million for visiting my store!
